… And a very proud urban Indi-Gyptian (Fairy-Wintigokan Souled) Nahkwe Ihkwe from George Gordon First Nation that was raised in one of Canada’s Most Dangerous Neighbourhood’s Washington Park (or North Central) located in Regina, Saskatchewan (on Treaty 4 Territory). Presently, I reside in Calgary, Alberta (located on Treaty 7 Territory).

After 15 years of actively providing professional support & services within my home community, obtaining my Mental Health & Wellness Diploma (with Honors of Distinction), being employed as Indigenous Researcher at FNUC, but also being a highly vocal Indigenous Rights Activist, Truth & Reconciliation Advocate, Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women Activist - I have decided to take a creative energetic & spiritual hiatus to reflect on my professional career & personal lived experiences and use the time to further heal from extreme & deeply-rooted colonial religious & spiritual traumas. 

Presently, I professionally identify myself as energetic & spiritual multi-talented Hip-Bop Professional Performer & Recording Artist that uses my creative intelligence & artistry to bring awareness to ongoing systemic colonial religious & spiritual rooted traumas, challanges, concerns & barriers that affect all persons throughout the world.

Furthermore, as an Indian Residential School, Indian Day School Survivor & Foster Care Survivor that has personally experienced many challenges & barriers in healing from colonial abuse & trauma, I am aware of the difficulties & hardships that are involved in creatively & openly sharing ones personal trauma; therefore, over the years I have become a strong leader, proponent and supporter of establishing & holding energetic & spiritual spaces that allow for all individuals to learn from each other while healing their own colonial trauma. 

As an Mental Health & Wellness Professional & former Indigenous Rights Advocate that has organized & lead many safe marches, protests, demonstrations but also spearheaded award-winning Truth & Reconciliation-based organizations, initiatives & projects and won multi-provincial awards & federal recognitions, that include:

Finally being that I am amidst walking a creative energetic & spiritual path, I feel that personally have a shared-responsibility to use my creative intelligence, education, knowledge, training, skills and energetic & spiritual gifts to bring attention to the extreme lack of education & awareness, highly racist & often discriminatory practices, policies & beliefs that exists for Indi-Gyptian (and Indigenous) persons within the music industry - especially the Hip-Hop Music Industry; but also how I’ve personally chosen to establish a new evolved genre that I’ve named Hip-Bop, which is a non-discriminatory inclusive Canadian-based Independent Record Label (UNDRIP Protected Project) called:

and use this passion-project as a tool to assist myself & other multi-talented artists in professionally expressing their voices & artform; while also sharing how this new evolved energetic & spiritual company help others heal their colonial-based traumas and support the healing of other extreme trauma-related conditions.
